A macOS music player concept exploring how to balance browsing a detailed library with staying in control of playback. I organised the window around recent playlists, the selected track list and artist discovery, keeping each activity in a distinct area.
Track rows pair artwork and artist names with album, date and duration details, supporting both visual recognition and scanning. The persistent playback bar keeps the current song and listening controls available while browsing, without requiring a separate player view.
The light visual direction draws colour from the artwork, using subtle surface differences to structure the interface while giving each playlist its own atmosphere.
